East Midlands Strategic Migration Partnership is hosting a half day event focussing on the employment of foreign nationals.
Speakers from the UK Border Agency, Jobcentre Plus, Gangmasters’ Licensing Authority and ACAS will cover:-
- Understanding your liabilities under immigration law ;
- Points based system;
- Forthcoming changes to the Points Based System for existing Sponsors;
- How to collect and retain the correct documentation;
- How to recruit foreign nationals;
- Discrimination;
- Jobcentre Plus – Employer Offer;
- HMRC real time information system.
The event is supported by Jobcentre Plus and is free, but places are limited.
