Small Employer Incentive to take on Apprentices

On 16th November 2011, Government announced a new incentive to help small firms take on apprentices aged 16 to 24.

For employers with up to 50 staff, the incentive comprises a payment of up to £1,500 payable in two stages. Details are still being developed, but employers can express an interest in the scheme now and begin to set up the paperwork.
