What does Grantham Business Club do?
The Grantham Business Club is dynamic in the regeneration of the Grantham Business community, focussed on developing Grantham as a leading centre of business excellence within the East Midlands.
By working effectively with all local business, Lincolnshire County Council, South Kesteven District Council, Grantham Future, residents and numerous voluntary organisations, the Grantham Business Club enables individual businesses to be represented as a united body and to voice opinion about issues within the community.
What are the advantages of membership?
Being a member of the Grantham Business Club will give you the opportunity to network with other businesses to promote your own business and to support other local businesses.
Our extensive and varied membership contains a complete range of business sectors, a wealth of business experience and an endless amount of valuable business opportunity.
‘Our monthly meetings include seminar-style presentations on topics of interest to people in business and the local community, as well as providing updates on current campaigns etc. that the Club is pursuing. There is no charge to members for attendance.’
Where do we meet?
The club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at De Vere Belton Woods Hotel, Belton Nr Grantham, NG32 2LN. Google Map of venue is here. The meetings are informal, refreshments are available and speakers are invited to give short presentations on a variety of issues.
How are we organised?
The club has an executive working committee formed from a variety of sectors, all give their time voluntarily. Their responsibility is to develop links with all the appropriate organisations, which may assist in, or influence the regeneration of the area. What are the joining costs?
Any organisation that wishes to become a member of the Grantham Business Club is asked to pay an annual membership fee based on the size of their organisation. The reason for this is twofold. Firstly, we hope to encourage attendance at the meetings and secondly the club needs to be self-funding and independent so that it can fulfil its role within the town. The fees collected will enable the club to develop and dictate its own destiny. Find out more about joining »
